MAC Brushes 130 and 187

I feel like I wouldn't usually do a review on brushes but I have been loving these 2 so much that I couldn't resist! I will start with my favorite, the 130. This brush is smaller than the 187 which is what I like about it. I use this one for my liquid foundation every morning. Both can be used for liquid foundations but I feel like the 130 can blend it in easier and you get less streaks and can get a more precise application whereas the 187 is larger and harder to control. I will put a dab of foundation on my face where I want it then use my 130 to buff it in. You only need the smallest amount because it blends it so nicely. All in all I have really been enjoying this brush and it is my favorite of my MAC brushes. Another favorite of my MAC brushes is my 187 which I use to blend my foundation for a more finished look after I've put it on and blended a bit with my 130. I also use this for my blush and my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in "Soft and Gentle". (which I will do a review on as well) I feel like this brush is better for blushes and highlights and products of that sort but that is just how it works for me please keep in mind that it is all trial and error and everyone has their own opinions and just because something works best for one person does not mean it will be the same for the next. For me this brush is the perfect size for putting things on my cheekbones and great for blending things as well. Both of these brushes are incredibly soft and I love feeling them, they are just so lovely! Quick Beauty Tip: Do not ever blow on your brushes if you ever pick up too much powder on them, gently hit the brush on something to get the extra powder off instead because blowing onto your brush gets the germs from your mouth onto your brush which you then put on your face and get the mouth germs all over your face.
I have had some shedding with these brushes but a lot less then most other brushes that I have used, every brush is going to shed a hair every once in a while. I have really enjoyed using these brushes and it makes applying my makeup much easier.

Origins Super Spot Remover

Origins Super Spot Remover-
So we all have those days where it may be that time of the month or something, but we all get a blemish here and there. On those days this is what I turn to. Now I'm going to start off by saying that this bottle is ridiculously small, but I use it all the time and hardly any is gone. I dab a bit of this onto the blemish after I wash my face right before bed and I wake up in the morning and its either gone or is a lot better. This just seems to help a lot! I don't use it in the morning before I put on my makeup though, it is kind of sticky and I'm not sure if it would affect my makeup and haven't had the opportunity to test this so if any of you have feel free to comment below and let me know. I also know that Origins is a really great brand and works great for sensitive skin because it is all organic! I haven't found 1 thing that I dislike about this product yet, so yes, I recommend it! It is super easy to use and dries quickly and it is a gel so it feels nice and soothing and like it is doing its job which is always nice. I paid around 14 dollars for this product which to you may seem high but to me is completely worth it! Like I said, this bottle will last me ages and it is a great product so it is well worth the price.

Este`e Lauder All Day Lipstick Shade Cafe Latte

Este`e Lauder All Day Lipstick Shade Cafe Latte- This product is one of my favorite lipsticks that I own. I apologize that I don't have a swatch of it to show you, I just wanted to get this post up because its been so long, though I will get up a picture of a swatch of this as soon as possible! Back to the review! I'm not sure this actually lasts all day, though the color is amazing and will last me a fair amount of time. Because I don't have a swatch to show you it will be difficult explaining how gorgeous the color is but I will try my best. It looks like the color of a latte but has like little gold shimmers in it as well. Now in my opinion I'm not the person who can pull off a bright red lipstick and personally think I can only pull off a few colors, nude being one of them. This is darker than nude though, sort of in between brown and nude but it suits my skin tone very well and I am really enjoying using this. The only thing I wish could be better is the amount of moisture. When I put this on I always like to put on a thin layer of chap stick first so my lips aren't dry. For me this is really important because I feel like this lipstick does not moisturize my lips as much as I would like it to which is disappointing to me but the color is so gorgeous that I quickly get over it. So if you are more for color and don't care about moisture then I think you will love this lipstick but if moisture is a necessity for you then I reccomend you try another lipstick. I would like to add that I was only able to find this on Amazon and it is very expensive, especially for a lipstick and I can't remember what I purchased this for but here is the link anyway.

Burt's Bees Cranberry & Pomegranate Sugar Scrub Review

Burt’s Bees Cranberry & Pomegranate Sugar Scrub Review- I cannot rave more about this product. First I will start off that it smells absolutely amazing. It smells like really sweet cranberry and pomegranate and I love it! But what I love the most is how moisturized you are once you use it. I use it on my arms and legs in the shower and you just rub it in for about a minute then rinse it all off. It is in sugar form and it has little seeds in it which makes you realize what good quality it is. Once you rinse it off you can’t believe how soft and refreshed your skin feels. It literally feels silky smooth. I know this product is from Burt’s Bees and their products are a bit pricy but this is definitely worth it to me. If you are in need of a nice scrub I would recommend this to you. It is honestly the most moisturizing thing I have ever used on my body. I don’t know if there are other scents as well or if this is the only scent they make. I am pleased with the scent but if there are more I will be looking into those for my next sugar scrub purchase. Overall this is an amazing product that I have definitely gotten my money out of and I will probably be repurchasing this in the future.

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Shade 021 “Sun Light” Review

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Shade 021 “Sun Light” Review- There are so many expensive bronzers and skin finishes to purchase and I’m sure are amazing products, but when money is tight what do you buy instead? I would recommend this bronzer. I haven’t tried many other bronzers so I can’t say it’s better than all of the others out there, but I am really enjoying using this product. I have always used all my foundation and concealer items but it always felt like I was missing something and this was it. I can’t go without this now. It gives my face its color back, just puts the light back in my face and now it doesn’t feel like something is missing anymore. I put this mainly on my cheekbones but put a touch on the rest of my face too. Doing this it makes my cheekbones stand out, which they never have before. If you have never used a bronzer before then I recommend you try out this one. Why? Because this product firstly puts natural looking color into your face and is an excellent finish that leaves you looking flawless. Secondly, I paid around $3 for this product. That is so cheap and there is a lot in there and it is a great product! I am just very happy that I made this purchase and if you are thinking of using bronzer, then I suggest you use this. It is a very nice product and if you don’t like it you only paid $3 which is no big deal verses MAC’s skin finish for around $35. I’m sure this bronzer is not as good quality as MAC’s but remember how cheap this is, I would expect this to be an awful product but you easily get your money’s worth. Overall I am really enjoying this product and I am thinking of repurchasing this in the future.

Bain de Terre Blow Dry Smoothing Cream Review

Bain de Terre Blow Dry Smoothing Cream Review- I enjoy this product so far. I have only used it about 5 times, but I have been satisfied each time. You use this before blow drying your hair and it prevents your hair from breaking and makes it smoother as well. I have very thick hair that breaks very easily and it is so simple for me to get split ends so I have to take extra care of my hair to prevent those annoying split ends. Blow drying dries out your hair and isn’t the best if you are taking special care of your hair but if you are going to use heat anyways I recommend this product. Not only is it protecting your precious hair, it makes it very soft too. I always find myself running my fingers through my hair once I use this because of its softness. I also find it gives my hair that little special something too, that little extra push that it needs some days. If you blow dry your hair often then maybe this is the product for you but I don’t blow dry mine too often, and I don’t think I absolutely need this exact smoothing cream. I do believe this product was a bit pricy, I am sure there are lots of cheaper products similar to this one that I haven’t tried, so if you’re on a budget I am sure there is a good replacement for this product, but I also think that this product is going to last me absolutely ages! You only need a small amount and this bottle is 150 mL so I won’t be running out anytime soon. Like I said though I am sure there are lots of great cheaper replacements for this. Overall I really like the product but it isn’t a necessity for me and a bit pricy.

Cetaphil Oil Control Foaming Wash Review

Cetaphil Oil Control Foaming Wash Review- I love this product. I use this every day and I have combination to oily skin and this product evens it out. I have always had trouble finding the right product that gets along with my skin but I finally found the one! It evens out my skin but doesn’t get rid of all the oil on my face which is good because you need a bit of oil on your face or it would be very dry (which I would like to point out even if you have oily skin like me is SO important to use a moisturizer. Don’t think that it will just make your face even oiler because it won’t!) I would also like to point out that I am a teenager and I do get breakouts (who doesn’t) but Epiduo has made my skin so clear and I will do a blog post on that later but it has been my life-saver! But back to the Cetaphil! There are many products by this brand and I recommend them all! I also love the body wash and lotion. This is a very reliable brand and I trust their products. They have many other types of face wash but I chose the foaming kind only because it makes my face feel cleaner and I guess it just spreads on my face easier, I don’t really know how to explain it but I prefer this one, though they are all great. Another thing I like about this product is the price. Finding the right skin product can be very pricy which is always frustrating especially when it turns out you don’t even like the product. I believe I spent $8 but I can’t quite remember and will post a link below. All in all I highly recommend this face wash for everybody (unless we have different skin types then just make sure to pick the one specifically for your skin type) If you have been searching for “the perfect” face wash and have yet to be successful I suggest you give this one a try and if you don’t like it then it isn’t like you broke the bank purchasing this.
